Through our neighbour Mark, he got in touch with a Japanese lady who wants to teach him the Kanji language. According to her, the best method is to learn the meaning of the character, while learning how to write it.

Start at the beginning... one line is the number 1, two lines is the number 2.
But it is not so easy. Putting these lines on paper requires a specific technique. You need the right posture, hold the brush just right and apply different kinds of pressure at different parts of the line.
All in all it is going to take a while. Especially since, after he just started the lessons, it got busy at work and now we are going to move...
