Weekend at Peter and Rie in Yokohama
Early June we have another meeting in Yokohama. Again we stay for the weekend, and this time to visit Peter and Rie. They plan to get married in November and will have the wedding ceremony in Kamakura. Kamakura. Kamakura is a popular spot for wedding ceremonies, so we go to check out how such a ceremony is conducted

In Kamakura you can find the second largest Buddha in Japan. It's more than 13 meter high.

In the evening, Kazuko joins us and Rie cooks a meal fit for royalty.

The next day we take the train home again. The distance between Yokohama and Aizu-Wakamatsu is more than 300 km. That's not really that far. But even when you take the shinkansen, it takes you about four hours and almost 10,000 yen before you are home.
