Country and western festival

Yes, yes, there are also Japanese country and western fans. The day after the fireworks we get together at the Crazy Horse at 10am to go to Kurume. There's a country and western festival in Kurume, and the Crazy Horse band is playing too. It's a big thing, because THE country and western start of Japan: Charlie Nagatani, will be there too.

It is very warm, so we first find a shady park where we can have lunch. Do-eil is having a great time in the playground, together with his dad Edo.

A lot of people are dressed in style: cowboy head, boots and accessories. We did our best, Lenette bought a summer cowboy hat. It is too hot for jeans and boots, so we'll just wear shorts.

There was also a lessen in line dancing. We had a ball, because the few foreign students didn't do so well. But that didn't matter, we had a lot of fun.

The performance of the Crazy Horse band was a success. We'd never heard them play country and western before, but their country rock sounded great. They had a lot of fun playing. Us four groupies were right in front of the stage to support them.
