At the end of May we went to Niigata Aquarium. It is still quite cold, so it is not very busy in the aquarium, which suits us just fine. The description resembles the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk, the Netherlands. Since we've never been there, this seems like a good occassion to see what we can expect when we visit the Dolfinarium. There are shows with dolphins, orcas and seelions. Everybody was impressed, and especially Yun-fa's daughter enjoyed herself a lot.

Inside they made a tunnel through an aquarium, so you could see the fish swim above and next to you. There were various aquaria with tropical fish, jelly fish etc.
